Hi, I’m Erin.

After years of working full-time and juggling the demands of work and family life, I realised just how powerful a clean, peaceful space can be. A few changes in my job made me re-evaluate what I really wanted from life - and from there, The Clean Edit was born.

I started this business to create flexibility for my family, and to offer other busy people something I know is deeply valuable - time, calm, and a fresh start.

With a background in sales, marketing, as well as being hands on in a busy nursery, I’m no stranger to hard work or high standards. I’ve always taken a methodical, detail-focused approach to everything I do - and cleaning is no different. I’m a perfectionist at heart, and I genuinely love putting headphones on and getting stuck into a task, transforming spaces one corner at a time.

What sets The Clean Edit apart is that I don’t rush, cut corners, or treat homes like a checklist. I notice the small things. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when life gets out of control. I know what it’s like to walk into a space that needs more energy than you have to give, and I love being the person who can take that weight off someone else’s shoulders.

Whether it’s helping a new mum feel in control again, giving a family back their weekends, or simply creating a sense of order in someone’s week - I find real joy in what I do.

I live in Invercargill with my partner, two kids, a cat and a dog - so yes, I really do get how life happens, and mess happens too.
